"Captain," asked Alex, "the rangers and I were thinking about going on a picnic. Can we do that?"
"Sure," said Capt. Mitchell, "but remember, as a Power Ranger, you're always on duty!"
"Gotcha!" said Alex.
Jim and Duane brought all of the supplies for the picnic. Jim loaded some ribs on the grill. Duane thought of playing a practical joke on Farah. He put a hairbrush right where she was going to sit down. She screamed.
"I had to do that!" said Duane, "it could have been a rat or something!"
"I hate you!" said Farah.
Everyone laughed. What they did not know is that Deptor was watching their picnic.
"So," said Deptor, "the humans hate rats, huh? I'm going to see if the boss will send some down!"
"Boss!" said Deptor, "send down a large rat! The humans are afraid of rats!"
"If that's true," said King Zorrid, "I will send a rat!"
King Zorrid sent a rat down to the Earth. The rat was firing electricity and knocking citizens to the ground. The alarm sounded in the Power Rangers' base. They saw what the rat was doing. The rangers morphed and became Power Rangers. Anna used her sonic blaster to annoy the rat. The rat cound not function, but the rat had its own sonic blster. It squeaked. The rangers were annoyed and could not function. The rat did not stop squeaking. Soon, some Garatrons came to make matters worse. The weakly fought the Garatrons. They made little progress.
"We need to do something about that rat," said Duane.
"Why don't we all blast it with our blasters and then the rat will fall over?" asked Alex.
"I say that we do it!" said Duane.
"Well, then," said Alex, "let's do it!"
The rangers all blasted the rat. The rat tumbled and struggled to get up.
"Let's kick him while he's down!" said Duane, "ready the X-Blaster!"
They readied the X-Blaster and shot the rat. The rat was in a worse condition than it was in before. However, King Zorrid healed the rat and made it into a giant rat. The rangers called on the Emergency Megazord and the Stellar Megazord. The Stellar Megazord gave the rat a electric punch. The rat became incoherent. It punched him again and the same thing happened. The Emergency Megazord powered up its sword and slashed it through the rat and the rat fell and exploded. The rangers celebrated. They retired their zords and went back to base.
