Devo came to Angel Grove to start trouble. He could not start any trouble yet. He saw the humane society chasing a dog. The dog did not know that the humane society was after them.
"Watch this!" said Devo, to himself.
He zapped the dog and made it into a monster. The dog catchers stopped and ran the other way. The dog laughed and breathed fire in their direction. The alarm sounded in the Power Rangers' base. They saw the fire-breathing dog breathing fire.
"This dog needs control!" said Jim, "everybody, let's go!"
They morphed and went to fight the Arcane, the dog monster. There were many Garatrons everywhere. The rangers defeated the Garatrons with ease. The dog monster hit the rangers with a severe fire blast.
"I have an idea," said Alex, "cover me!"
The rangers kept firing at the monster. Then Alex surprised the monster when Alex put his fists in the monsters mouth and shot a freeze down his mouth. After that, Arcane could not breathe, but he could still fight. He charged at the rangers and knocked them around. Anna used her sonic cannon to irritate Arcane's ears. She was succesful.
"You keep going," said Anna, "I will distract him!"
Duane powered up his sword and knocked the monster out. However, King Zorrid healed him and made Arcane grow.
"I'm the fire in the sky!" said Arcane.
He blew fire in the sky. Alex called on the Chief Zord. The dog and the Chief Zord exchanged punches. The dog blew fire at the Chief Zord. The Chief Zord used electricity and shocked the dog and the dog was incoherent. Alex used the lance and the dog did not blow up. He reverted to a regular dog.
"He's just a regular dog," said Anna, "Zorrid must have used him as a monster! How could Zorrid be so cruel?"
"Believe me," said Jim, "it's possible."
"That's true," said Anna.
"Let's get this guy to a good animal shelter," said Alex.
The Power Rangers took the dog to a great no-kill shelter. The dog was happy and the Power Rangers were happy. Later on, the dog was adopted into a friend, loving family.
"I guess that is our good deed for the day," said Alex, "let's go home!"
They retired their zords and went home.
